Welcome to Faith Child Care! Our Center was established in 1989 by Faith Lutheran Church as an outreach program for its members and the community. It is a non-denominational Christian center licensed by the State of Wisconsin for 99 children between the ages of six weeks and twelve years. We are open from 6:00 AM-6:00 PM Monday through Friday, and accept contracts for child care from 6:30 AM -5:45 PM.

Faith Child Care is located on the northeast side of Appleton in a residential neighborhood near Appleton Medical Center. We are fortunate to be within walking distance to Erb Park and pool, with Valley Transit transportation easily accessible. Franklin Elementary and Roosevelt Junior High are within blocks from our building.

Our staff, with longevity averaging over ten years, is committed to working with the children and parents of our “Faith family”. We feel blessed to share the joys of watching each child reach new developmental milestones. Parents are always welcome to come and spend time with their child during the day.

Our Mission Statement

It is the Mission of Faith Child Care to provide quality Christian child care for families of the Fox Valley community in a nurturing environment that fosters developmentally appropriate growth.

Our Philosophy

The staff of Faith Child Care believes that God has given each child unique and special qualities. Our major emphasis is to help the children in our care discover their God-given qualities and talents while providing a safe, nurturing environment.

As a Christian child care center, we help children to learn compassion and respect for others and an awareness of the world around them. Religious concepts are woven into our curriculum and daily activities within each classroom. The children are taught daily about God’s love for them.

We believe that children learn best in a play-oriented, hands-on environment in which each child develops school readiness skills at his or her own developmental level. Through play, children learn to socialize and communicate their thoughts and feelings to others. They also learn to organize, to problem-solve and to use their imaginations. The activities we provide give children many opportunities to develop their cognitive, social, emotional, physical and spiritual growth.

We believe that the family unit is the most important factor in a child’s life. Therefore, building strong relationships with parents is very important to us and we take a partnership approach to child care.
